Thanksgiving

It is a wonderful time of year, and we thought we would share with you some pictures.

We were blessed to be able to go to Colorado to visit Family. We visited Jacob's family and then went off to have Thanksgiving dinner with Charity's family.

It was wonderful to visit with our family. We are so thankful for them and for the gospel. We hope that everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving.

It's a boy!

We just left the hospital this morning with wonderful news that we are going to have a son. Here are the ultrasound images from our first visit on October 1, 2007, as well as the ultrasound images from today. We are so excited and proud. Charity and I were beaming all the way home from the hospital (and we still are).

This is the left side profile of his head from today's ultrasound. You can see a little spine, chin, and nose. I think I see part of the baby's brain. It looks like it has lots of folds; which means he got it from Charity.

I think you can see more of the face in this one. He is so amazing.

We have already started planning and dreaming about his future. I will get to take him to Priesthood Meetings. He can have the opportunity to serve a mission. He will get to marry in the temple. Ahhhhh.....
Life is good.


Update: Charity and Baby are doing very well. We appreciate all of the prayers on their behalf.

Our New Apartment

Due to the limited functionality of our camera, this is the only picture we currently have of our new apartment. As you can see, it is a very nice home and a place where we enjoy being. We are sure baby will like it too. Books, yum....

This is where we began our married life. We lived in the right middle apartment on the 2nd floor (the one with the blue bicycle). Lots of good memories :)

As our family begins, so does the blog.

Hi everybody. This is supposedly going to be the location of the family blog where we will post pictures, videos, and articles of things happening in our branch of the family tree.

As my wife just reminded me, it is also our six month anniversary. I don't know if this blog would count as a proper gift, but since its Sunday I can't clandestinely slip out and go buy some emergency flowers. I did remember to tell her that I loved her though... Its a good thing that I have an eternity to memorize when our anniversary is.
